AIR kart: Second test (2nd January 2018)

The second of the AIR Kart test days had a horrendous weather forecast all day. The rain kept coming, and it was quite unpleasant - this didn't stop us testing though. We tried old tyres to begin with, but they were uncontrollable in the conditions, giving us no choice but to use new tyres in order to really get a feel for the kart in extreme wet conditions. We then uncovered the kart's true quality, setting amazing lap times and gradually changing part by part, we managed to get down to a 57.24 lap time (which is incredible for a soaking wet Whilton Mill). Overall it was a great day, as we learnt a lot about the kart. Thanks to Alex at AIR Motorsport for the day.
