AIR kart: Third test (4th January 2017)
The third AIR Kart test saw some slightly different conditions once again - it was wet at the start of the day (but nowhere near as wet as the previous test), so we continued from where we left off with some slight adjustments to the chassis to be tested. We again learnt a lot, and as the day went on, the track got drier, and at the end of the day there were only 2 corners that were still wet. We put slick tyres on for the first time over the testing period, and managed to get down to a 50.66 with two corners still wet and the tyres not being in the best condition. The kart has so much potential, I cannot wait to see how I can do on it this season in the Whilton Mill Club championship. Thanks to Alex at AIR Motorsport for another great day.
